M-TEC’s ongoing commitment not only to the Industrial Cadets programme but the UK automotive industry, we a proud to announce an expansion to our existing awards scheme.
Going forward M-TEC will be offering ‘Gold’, ‘Platinum’ and ‘Platinum Leader’ awards within the Industrial cadets framework. This gives the opportunity for all our Work experience, under graduates and apprentices to benefit from the Induistrial cadets programme.
M-TEC Engineering Projects are offering ‘Gold Level’ workplace experience, inline with the Industrial Cadets framework. Cadets graduating at the Gold level will follow a programme defined by the activities breakdown over a minimum of 50 hours. The programme components and skills and competency framework illustrate the employability skills and personal learning and thinking skills acquired by each individual.
M-TEC Engineering Projects are now offering ‘Platinum Level’ experience, inline with the Industrial Cadets framework. Cadets graduating at the Platinum level will again follow a programme defined by the activities breakdown over an extended period of time (Usually a year). Under graduates and apprentices will be required to keep a log book in order to monitor and record their individual development. In addition external engagement of schools further promoting not only the company but the Industrial Cadets programme.
M-TEC Engineering Projects are now offering ‘Platinum Leader’ experience, inline with the Industrial Cadets framework and following on from the ‘Platinum’ level, Graduates and Apprentices alike whom are successful in graduating at Platinum leader level will further strengthen their communication and leadership skills and experience by mentoring and challenging external schools. The under graduates and apprentices will be expected to have significant input into school engagement (e.g. school presentations, assistance with WEX hosting, mentoring, role model interaction) as well as representing M-TEC Engineering Projects in community initiatives or making an additional impact by going the extra mile with the company itself.
