M-TEC Engineering Projects fortieth Industrial Cadet GOLD Graduation of K.Richardson. Kate successfully completed a development programme, resulting in the creation of a detailed CAD design and manufacture of a ‘Steering Wheel’ Model. This was then prototyped using our very own 3D printer. M-TEC Engineering Projects thirty nineth Industrial Cadet GOLD Graduation of T.Bowers. Thomas successfully completed a development programme, resulting in the creation of a detailed CAD design and manufacture of a ‘Mechanical Fish’ Model. This was then prototyped using our very own 3D printer. 05/06/2018 – M-TEC Engineering Projects 38th Gold Level Industrial Cadet

M-TEC Engineering Projects thirty eighth Industrial Cadet GOLD Graduation of T.Hawkins. Taylor successfully completed a development programme, resulting in the creation of a detailed CAD design and manufacture of a ‘Full Suspension Bike’ Model. This was then prototyped using our very own 3D printer. INDUSTRIAL CADETS EXPANSION

M-TEC’s ongoing commitment not only to the Industrial Cadets programme but the UK automotive industry, we a proud to announce an expansion to our existing awards scheme.

Going forward M-TEC will be offering ‘Gold’, ‘Platinum’ and ‘Platinum Leader’ awards within the Industrial cadets framework. This gives the opportunity for all our Work experience, under graduates and apprentices to benefit from the Induistrial cadets programme.

M-TEC Engineering Projects are offering ‘Gold Level’ workplace experience, inline with the Industrial Cadets framework. Cadets graduating at the Gold level will  follow a programme defined by the activities breakdown over a minimum of 50 hours. The programme components and skills and competency framework illustrate the employability skills and personal learning and thinking skills acquired by each individual.

 

M-TEC Engineering Projects are now offering ‘Platinum Level’ experience, inline with the Industrial Cadets framework. Cadets graduating at the Platinum level will again follow a programme defined by the activities breakdown over an extended period of time (Usually a year). Under graduates and apprentices will be required to keep a log book in order to monitor and record their individual development. In addition external engagement of schools further promoting not only the company but the Industrial Cadets programme.

 

M-TEC Engineering Projects are now offering ‘Platinum Leader’ experience, inline with the Industrial Cadets framework and following on from the ‘Platinum’ level, Graduates and Apprentices alike whom are successful in graduating at Platinum leader level will further strengthen their communication and leadership skills and experience by mentoring and challenging external schools. The under graduates and apprentices will be expected to have significant input into school engagement (e.g. school presentations, assistance with WEX hosting, mentoring, role model interaction) as well as representing M-TEC Engineering Projects in community initiatives or making an additional impact by going the extra mile with the company itself.

Judges recognition for outstanding SME Employer – M-TEC Engineering Projects

M-TEC offers a wide range of Programme, Engineering & Design support services to their customer base, developing components, systems and processes from concept through to product realisation. They have been offering ‘Gold Level’ workplace experiences, in line with the Industrial Cadets framework. Cadets graduating at the Gold level will follow a programme defined by the activities breakdown over a minimum of 50 hours. The programme components and skills and competency framework illustrate the employability skills and personal learning and thinking skills acquired by each individual. M-TEC are passionate about this statement on their website and believe that this is the way forward to establishing renewed confidence with young people’s career path into engineering.

Joseph successfully completed a development programme, resulting in the creation of a detailed CAD design and manufacture of a ‘Cantilever Bridge’ Model. This was then prototyped using our very own 3D printer. CALLING SCHOOLS & STUDENTS

M-TEC are at the forefront of engaging schools and students alike via the Industrial Cadets programme. This has been acknowledged through our recent award presented by HRH the Prince of Wales in March 2018, for “Outstanding SME Employer of the Year”.

Capitalising on this award along with our ongoing commitment to the Industrial Cadets, our team have and are engaging numerous local schools to encourage the students to take an active role in pursuing work experience in the engineering sectors.

2017 APPRENTICE INTAKE

MTEC-EP apprentices Lawrence Bridger, Frank Lording (M-TEC’s training officer) William Skelley and Harry Machin

M-TEC are proud to introduce Harry Machin to our 2017 apprentice intakes. As part of M-TEC’s ongoing commitment to introduce, train and develop the next generation of Engineering hopefuls. Harry came through the M-TEC Industrial Cadet programme (As previous apprentices) and will undergo a variety of training modules in order to widen their knowledge base as well as be given the opportunity to ‘Earn & Learn’ with an OU Degree course.
